The book begins in Bletchley Park where we meet a young girl by the name of Robyn. The (second world) war has just reached them, she notes it started a few months previously but has only really just started to affect them and be noticeable. She has had restrictions placed upon her by her parents and feels like her wings have been clipped. Soon we discover she is to work at Bletchley Park and has to sign the official secrets act. She makes a friend in the undertakers apprentice and soon discovers her pal from school is working at the park too. Between them they set about discovering what secrets the park holds and what the comings and goings mean.
I really enjoyed reading this book, I raced through it in just over a day. The writing has a great pace to it, it’s a very interesting story based around subject I have an interest in so overall thoroughly enjoyable
