Initially intrigued by the illustrations on the cover of the book, I immediately was interested in this story and as a history-lover myself I thoroughly enjoyed this history-themed mystery book.
'I Spy' by Rhian Tracey is a mystery book based on the happenings in Bletchley Park. The main character, Robyn who has lived at Bletchley Park her whole life, who dreamt that one day she would be able to work with her father in the garages, is told she will no longer be attending her school and is eventually assigned to help with the carrier pigeons along with her friends Mary and Ned who agree that everything is not what it seems and end up keeping an eye on everyone.
This novel is very adventurous and would be amazing for a young audience especially if they are interested in either historical fiction or a good old mystery. I will definitely keep my eye out for any other books by this author!
