The minute i saw it, it reminded me of enid blyton books that i used to read when i was a child and this book lived up to that with the adventures and mystery that the children have and want to solve.
The book is based on a 12 year old gorl named robyn who lives in bletchley park with her mother and father in 1939 and the second world war has just started. Robyn has to leave school and get a job working is the pigoen loft. She soon makes friends with a boy called Ned and then her school friend starts workkng in the park. The three of them start getting together and thinking all is not as it seems go on the hunt for a spy who they think is in the park working against them.
I didnt expect this story to have so many twists to it. I really enjoyed it and think it will be great for older to children to learn more about the war time.
