It was alright
I actually got sent this book and I was far more excited about it than I should've really been.
It was nice, the characters were cool and all that, the subject was very interesting, it was something that I haven't read about in a veeeeeeeery long time, but I really think that the author tried to make a very mature book on a very important subjects and discuss WW2 but made it waaaaay too childish. And I really like childish books, yk :). But again, she tried too hard to do something that maybe shouldn't have been like that.
Overall, I liked it, but I really don't believe it deserves more than 3 stars.
Maybe if the author would try to write another book, I'm not saying that it should be a children's book or a YA book or ANYTHING, just something, I bet it would be much, much better.
At the same time, however, I think maybe the genre wasn't fitting the book, even though I said that the subject was a very nice and important one, maybe the author wasn't good enough for this genre.
