I'm a primary school librarian and in year 6 the children study ww2, that is partly due to me and pardue to a year 6 teacher.
So for my part in the children learning I'm responsible for choicing and recommending suitable books. I'm always on the lookout for a different angle for the children.
So when I read this book I know this was another angle the children could learn about.
Behind the scenes at Bletchley Park was so interesting and the author captured the scenes and atmosphere correctly.
The fact that the main characters were children was brilliant and these children relatable.
I love how modern authors reliase that this is an important topic children need to learn about and every single book is different.
This has now definitely become part of the children ww2 learning, and I hope there I more to come from this author.
