As a person who was a teenager many decades ago I quite often find it hard to relate to modern novels aimed at the teenage market . However , as the book cover suggests I think that this may be more of an old fashioned love story with well rounded characters. With this short extract I was able to empathise with the young couple and the awkward feelings that occur during teenage years. A good start .
