First off let me say that The Macarena is a great song and I would happily dance to it at any wedding, or any time to be honest...
I'm not the biggest fan of books like this, but I can relate to Lydia's frame of mind being on that crawl to thirty myself. I can completely see it's appeal. Lydia seems like a likeable character and there were some proper LOLing moments in that first chapter but I think I'd need to read the whole thing to see if my mind could be changed.
