A classic romantic comedy written in a modern style. Lydia and Danny make a pact in their early twenties to marry each other if they aren’t already married by age thirty.

Fast forward ten years and, not withstanding a few broken relationships, the couple are still single.

Cue a little family intervention, a bit of luck, some coincidence, a lot of serendipity and the two are destined to be together. What could keep them apart this time?

With extremely likeable characters, two wacky mothers, friends and family, this book is a feel good read that will leave you with a cheesy grin on your face. Sugary-sweet and uncomplicated is the genre and it’s a combination that, whilst not altogether original, is often a winner. Not a ground-breaking read but an entertaining one nonetheless.
