I’ve read a few of Anna Bell’s previous books and found them to be good easygoing reads so I was really looking forward to reading her newest title. Overall I enjoyed it, it was easy to get into, entertaining with some good humour and a really easy read. What spoilt my enjoyment of the book somewhat was the feeling I’ve read this story before, yes different authors, different characters and different circumstances but overall the same premise and a feeling of predictability.

The characters were engaging and well written, you couldn’t help but go crazy for the mums, they made the book really and could be great stars of their own books if the author could find the right storyline so whilst I found the plot a bit samey the characters meant it’s still a good read.
