I haven't read a romance book for quite a while, but I did enjoy 'If We're Not Married by Thirty' by Anna Bell.

Haunted by the mantra #livingmybestlife, Lydia, a 30 year old woman, suddenly reunites with her childhood best friend, Danny, with whom she happened to make the ye old pact of marrying each other at 30 if they were both still single. They then have to decide whether to go through with their pact or not.

As with most romance books, the enjoyment comes not from the 'Will the main characters get together?', but rather 'When will they get together and how will their relationship blossom?' journey.

It wasn't a page turner or a tear jerker, but the storyline was amusing enough and the vast majority of the characters were likeable and/or relatable. Worth a read!
