If We're Not Married by Thirty by Anna Bell features Lydia as she reels after a breakup and watches all her friends get married, and become happy. But her world gets turned upside down when she bumps into her childhood friend, who she made a pact with a child. They said if they weren't married by thirty they would marry each other...and now here they are, both thirty and single. But it was just a stupid childhood joke...wasn't it?
I liked the honest humour that made this book real. The characters were so honest in their opinions of others which made me like them.
The dialogue and interaction are humorous. In fact, I thought the whole book sounded a bit absurd but when I started reading I started to warm to the idea. I think this book looks interesting and fun!
