Lots of laughs
This was the first book of Anna Bell’s book I have read, is that her real name or a writing name?, anyway, I found the book lovely.
Lydia at thirty is newly single and not happy in her jobs, she feels like her friends lives have all taken off in a marvellous direction while hers has just stayed stuck where it was.
She gets the chance to go on a free holiday and with her life as it is she jumps at the chance of it thinking that maybe she could give life a bit of a jump start which just so happens she does when she bumps into long lost friend Danny and soon fall into a holiday romance and remembering the pact they made that if they were not married by 30 they would get together.
This is a wonderful story of love, wit and thrills, it will have you laughing out loud right from the start.
A lovely touch is the emails and letters written between them, I almost felt like I was snooping on them.
If you want a light hearted, happy read then this is it
