Who doesnt love a comeback of a childhood best friend! First off the main character starts off in a totally relatable and realistic situation. There are so many women who find themselves in their mid thirties, single and surrounded by friends who seem to be living their best lives, usually happily married and sometimes even with a family. I really enjoy the idea of this character starting off in a place where readers can connect because sometimes in romance novels it can feel a little unrealistic and unattainable in real life but this definitely breaks those standards. The main character posses and interesting perspective of life and how she navigates through this beautiful process called love :)
