I read this book just after Christmas in that funny i lnbetween Christmas and new year period where Christmas stories are no longer magical. This book was an ideal bew year pick me up! A gorgeous storyline and genuinely funny. I loved how it followed the characters throughout thier teenage years and showed how they went their separate ways but all the while linked back together! The author really set the scene and wrote about some gorgeous places which I hope to visit, making the reader feel as if they were actually there. I loved the dynamics of the relationship with the mother in law to be and how the author Injected humour into the book through this character. 5 stars, would highly recommend.
