Quick, cute read
I picked this book up on a bit of a whim, because contemporary romances aren't usually my 'thing'. However I was in the mood for something easy and sweet, and on that front this book definitely delivered.
The book takes the usual format for these sort of stories - a little drama, some angst, some clichè cutesy moments - but it actually had a little more to offer too. I enjoyed, for example, the fact that each chapter started with a letter or an email. It felt like a fun addition to the book and wasn't forced or unnecessary in the way these devices can sometimes be.
I also found myself relating to the main characters quite a lot (yes I am also in that awkward, nearly 30s age group) and got a few laughs from it. Overall a quick and fun little read.
