‘If We’re Not Married By Thirty’ was an excellent read, full of natural spark in the language, and with a feeling of ease throughout. I felt both amused, and thoroughly engaged in the story, as it was written in a flowing manner - as though every word was purposefully placed with dexterity. The story was written with heart, and every character was displayed with their own personalities and ‘quirks’ in great detail, whilst remaining light-hearted. This resulted in a superb blend of hilarity and seriousness.
I was drawn into the book, with its seamless storyline, and the author’s great ability to be endearing, charismatic, accessible and jocular, simultaneously. It meant that the overall effect was quite entertaining and sharp witted. This was a very enjoyable read!
