Everyone needs to read a great chick lit book now and then. This one had strong characters who you instantly want to succeed. Lydia the main character does need to live a little and grow up a bit, as she’s rather naive. But the story pulls you in and you just want Lydia and Danny to get together. Lydia and her friend Danny make a pact that if they weren't married by 30, they'd marry each other. The story is set over a ten year period. After a difficult few months Lydia heads to Spain to find herself. Danny turns up and Bobs your uncle.
I found the story really funny. The story flows easily and all the characters are very likeable. This chick lit is that easy read you’re looking for when you need some light relief.
