What a wonderful book to banish the winter blues. Beautifully written and paced, light hearted, but also intense at times, ensuring you keep turning the pages to find out what happens to the lovely couple around who the novel centres.

Lydia and Danny are childhood sweethearts who find themselves apparently coincidentally in the same cottage in Spain over the Christmas period. What follows is a whirlwind romance and a lot of making up for lost time. There was a point mid book where I thought that the book could have finished and I would have been delighted with the conclusion, but as the novel progressed I was glad of the additional drama and time to get to know ,ore about the characters. I was just sad when it ended and will be looking for more books by this author.
