This book is not something I would usually pick up to read myself but I did win it and I thought I would give it a go. I studied history so this book was interesting to me but I probably won’t read it again. It goes through Iraq and Syria and the problems they have there which was interesting. It shows the ties between the Middle East and the west and how the decisions made about the Middle East affected other decisions like brexit and Trump. The book has some pictures added throughout which relate to what is being said in the book which was a nice touch. I found the information in it interesting and I think more people should know the things it goes through. However I feel it is a book that I won’t need to read again.
