I found this to be a very insightful look into the story of a British woman travelling in the middle east. I wasn't too sure initially but decided to give it a go anyway.
At times I felt like I was there with Emma as she travelled through the war torn lands; her writing was so vivid. I felt that the writing flowed well, and kept a good pace. I really liked the inclusion of the pictures, it helped set the tone for me and I'd definitely be interested in reading more from Emma in the future.
