I don't usually read books like this too much, I tend to go for more memoirs or lighter historical books/non-fiction with some political thrown in. However, the synopsis here sounded very interesting!
I lent this book to my dad (an avid reader of policital and historical non fiction and he enjoyed it! He said he would rate is 3/4 stars and enjoyed the complex detail of the discussion, however it wasn't utterly mind blowing.
For me, I really enjoyed the complexity also, I think that this book took a very important but lesser known topic and really broke it down and made it very readable and very interesting and insightful! I would definitely recommend if you want to learn more about the topic!
