I was SO disappointed by this one! The blurb stated that this was the finale of a long-standing series, so whyyyyyy did it end so abruptly with ZERO questions answered and with quite literally the entire story still up in the air?! I genuinely cried out when I finished as it just seems unfinished.
A promising premise; a kidnapping mystery which is unfortunately seemingly an afterthought as the focus remains on the death of a blogger and a miscarriage of justice surrounding a spousal murder, the story just seems to spread itself too thin and not amount to much of any interest.
Bizarre characters and unwelcoming to readers that may be new to the franchise, I found it difficult to enjoy, and I was downright offended by the ending!
