I've always wanted to read a book by Ava Dellaira but I have never gotten around to doing so, hopefully this one can push me to do so.
This book is about a young girl who has been known during her childhood as a child actor but she hasn't been able to secure a place for a while now which leads to her having to move in with her uncle and neither her or her mother seem happy with that idea and the only way Marilyn can escape that life is going to college, which she can't seem to wait for.
I love the fact that the main character is mixed race, which is something that is occurring more and more these days and I love it!
