This book was such a good book!!

It follows a teenage girl called Angie as she set off the find out the truth about her father who she had never knew. Her mother told her he died in a car accident but Angie wanted to find out the truth and so sets off to LA to discover facts about her father.

The book also skips to chapters from Marilyn (Angie's mother) when she was her daughters age and shows how the relationship between her and Angie's father developed and grew.

The fact that the story flicks between the two girls means that you can get a really indepth feel on the tiniest of things within the story. I loved the little parallels between Angie and James (her father), and I loved how Angie would see something, such as a dress, and then we would get to see the history behind it when Marilyn would wear it in her part of the story.
