I absolutely loved this one! I don't know why, but I wasn't really expecting it to hit me but boy was I wrong!
This one is definitely a must-read if you enjoy literary/woman's fiction etc. This is a fantastic story of love, loss and the intricate, delicate and beautiful relationship and bond between Mothers and Daughters.
I loved that this story was told over two generations and timelines, I think it made it all the more immersive and you really felt as though you genuinely knew and cared about the characters and the events which effected them. This one was heartbreaking but also beautifully written and just overwhelmingly brilliant! I cannot fault this brilliant story, and I think that if you like stories with these themes this one is for you!
