I've seen this book around a lot. Its not very often you find stories about mothers and daughter told this way. Seeing them at the same age and the challenges they are going through. The back and forth between the two main charaters both at 17 but in different era, really interested me. A mother who lies to her daughter about her father and how she discovers the truth by finding a photograph. The feeling she must be going through. Also thr mother when she was 17 to discovering that living in the present and not always looking to the future matters a lot when your young. The cover pulls you in, its fun and bright. I can't wait to get the full copy and find out what happen and the journeys they are both going on.
