UPDATE: I recently reread this book and I loved it even more the second time around, so I have to upgrade my review from four stars to five stars. It's just brilliant! Can't believe it took me two reads to realise just how special this book is! (I'll leave my original review below)
I fell in love with this book cover the second I saw it and the description had me desperate to read the story. I am so happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I especially loved the way it worked with the telling of Angie's and Marilyn's stories side by side. I thought at first that it was just going to be told from two different perspectives but the way in which the story was told and pieced together was beautifully done. I loved the characters and I felt a connection with Angie after just reading the prologue. I read this book so quickly and I will definitely be recommending this to my fellow reader friends. I may even suggest it as a future pick for my book group as I think they would enjoy it. Another lovely story to add to my collection, I'm so glad that I read this.
