I read this book when i was....maybe 12 or 13. It was a time where I'd be inhaling whichever book I came into contact with because I was just so desperate to disappear -I was at one of my lowest points.

I don't remember much of the book but I remember how it made me feel, the tone of the writing so melonchly that I can still recall it today. I'd be sitting in my English classroom and somewhere completely different at the same time with tears in my eyes. I remember not being able to relate with many of the characters but, from the beautiful style of writing the author adopted, I remember being able to understand completely how they felt and I remember caring about Marilyn and Angie like they were my family. There are some books in this world I owe a small part of my life to and this is one of them, so thank you for this absolute gem of a novel because it changed me.
