One of those really sad stories that still leaved your heart full of warmth at the end

I struggled to get into the story at first...the girl is a model trying to be noticed but failing, her mum is awkward and a bit of an alcoholic blah blah....BUT then they dig a lot deeper and you find out how the mother and daughter many years ago relate to the mother and daughter in a similar single parent situation now and the emotions really start flowing.

The search of Angie to find out the truth about what happened years ago to her parents that has led her to where she is today is quite an important one and you see a complete other side of the same story the mum has told.

Confusing at times Flitting between characters, but once I was used to this I couldn't put it down. A fairly predictable ending but a good read.
