I read around 25 percent of this book before I had to DNF it. It was not the book for me sadly. What I read of the book was okay and seemed to be fast-paced but I didn't get attached to any of the characters. I also didn't enjoy the plot, which is upsetting as I really wanted to love this book.
The book also seemed a little unrealistic to me in terms of conversations and storyline. I have heard so many good things about Ava Dellaira's first book and was hoping I would be impressed by this book.
I will still be giving Ava Dellaira's first book a go, to see if that is any better for my reading tastes. I have heard so many good things about In Search of Us though and I feel like it would appeal to certain people. Sadly, I am not one of these.
