I only read the first story before deciding this book is not one I'd enjoy. I didn't find the narrator's sudden change of heart believable. And do Zimbabweans really sit GCSEs? I got to the end of it and thought, what was all that about? I enjoy reading stories from other cultures but sadly this collection doesn't pique my interest.
