Poignant and Eye-opening

This collection of short stories offers an invitation into the lives of Zimbabweans and the struggles they have faced, and overcome. It was an eye-opening first look that ignites in the reader a passion to help overcome the injustices faced for these people. It brings to light just how deeply ingrained racism is in British society, whether it is because a blind eye is turned on foreign affairs, or within institutes in the UK.
