I enjoyed recieving this book in the post. It was sent directly from the author and he had even signed it and written me a little message. Such a personal touch!
The book has 11 short stories about different plights.
The characters were likeable and the stories easy to follow. As they were short stories they moved along with pace and were enjoyed by me and my husband. As they are short stories it's the type of book you can pick up and put down for a few days and come straight back to it.
My only criticism is the print itself, the book was hard to hold as the front and back cover are flimsy and it's an odd size.
Overall I have this book 3 stars as the subject matter isn't my usually go tom I enjoyed reading about things which I haven't read about before but I wouldn't run to pick up another by this author.i wish him all the best in his future books. Thank you.
