But if you only read one chapter it has to be chapter 2 black Britain.
I couldn’t believe what I was reading, obviously I had read accounts like this but never really experienced this until I read this story.
I'm white and I've never known what it's like to be treated like this until I was in the shoes of this family experiencing the brutal way they are treated by the police.
I was shocked, scared and can't believe in 2024 things like this still happen.
The book as a whole was a good read which I read over a few nights.
Another interesting story centres on the Covid 19 pandemic. And we get a feeling of what it was like to be a doctor during that horrible time. And what cares homes were like.
