Inside Harare Alcatraz is an interesting, educational and RIVETING reading experience. The author uses his extensive vocabulary to vividly portray an eclectic array of ife experiences which I could never begin to either imagine or comprehend without his skill as a writer to guide my wondrous journey through Zimbabwe and England.
The juxtaposition between the two countries, cultures and counter cultures is a masterly and innovative conception.
I would highly recommend this read and, as a former senior lecturer, would have loved to share this with my students.
The vivid shades of black, red and white on the cover compel the eye, as does the beauty of the face which is the dominant feature. This perfectly complements this excellent book.
