This novel seems to be really intriguing. I love a bit of magic and fantasy, and when the author has taken so much care to develop a full and believable world, this really helps me transport there when I'm reading. This book seems a mix of the real with the unreal in a totally believable way, and I'm really looking forward to reading the whole thing! The cover calls me, with the silhouetted cityscape and sparkling lights, and a suggestive strap line of "the realms make monsters of us all" grabs my attention. With my foolproof book choosing method generally being "do I like the cover", this would definitely fall firmly into that camp.
