From the first couple of pages, I was invested in this book. Alexandra's writing flows well and her style makes me nostalgic of fantasy stories I grew up reading. I like that you're immediately thrown into the world and learn as you go. The information given about the world already is intriguing and you can tell she put thought into creating the world. I can't wait to find out more about this world and read the rest of this book. Also, the map at the start of the book is stunningly drawn.
