The front cover of this book looks beautiful, and the inclusion of illustrations inside adds to the immersion of the reader. The book however was slow to catch my attention, possibly because fantasy is a genre I don't frequently read. I found the prose quite lengthy and hard to navigate, although I would be interested in persevering with the book further to find out more.
