I knew as soon as I read To Kill a Kingdom, that I would read anything Alexandra Christo ever wrote, and I still uphold that view to this day. And although it's a completely different vibe to her previous novel, I am just as excited to read Into the Crooked Place as I am to reread To Kill a Kingdom for the tenth time. 😅
Dark magic + the criminal underworld = my favourite type of book.
There is nothing anyone could say that would make me want to read this book any more!
But somehow the opening lines made me want it even more. 😂
The initial worldbuilding and magic system are so interesting and I would love to see how far they are explored in the book. And the relationships between the characters just *reek* of backstory.
I need to read this ASAP, basically.
