I'm rarely entranced by a book until at least a few chapters in but this one had me spellbound by page 6.
I'm completely intrigued by the "new magic" that Tavia has reservations about selling and I cannot wait to learn Wesley's motives for providing it.
I think I would have preferred this in 1st person as it might have provided a greater insight into Tavia's thoughts but so far the narrative is proving to be open.
Tavia's friendship with Saxony seems so genuine and what an absolute cliffhanger of an ending! I need to know what the new potion really is!!
