I was drawn by the cover of this book and the drawing of the map at the beginning - which is simply amazing.
However, I am afraid to say, I wasn't as taken as I hoped to be from the rest of it.
It was something I used to read as a teenager, which unfortunately, I have now grown out of.
It does remind me a bit of Inkheart by Cornelia Funke - which I adored when I was younger.
I am sure I would have loved this book a few years ago, but sadly it is not my cup of tea anymore...
