Into a Crooked Kingdom had me drawn in and hooked from the first page, the first line reads, 'Tavia Syn made a living on magic and it was rarely the legal kind.' Which is SO GOOD. I adored Alexandra Christo's To Kill a Kingdom and her writing style for Into a Crooked Kingdom is just as good, it truly packs a punch and has you desiring more after every page.

From the first few pages, the plot had enticed me in and hooked me. Tavia is an interesting character who tricks people into thinking her Magic is truly great and real. When something strange happens however, she believes it is a trick in itself and pushes the thoughts away. I love the uniqueness of the plot and its character, I already get a Six of Crows vibe which immediately further helped me to paint a picture of this world.

I can't wait to read more.
