After reading Alexandra Christos other book, To Kill A Kingdom, I was thrilled to discover that she had a new book for release. Really enjoyed this book, spent the weekend reading it and wasn’t disappointed. The book was magical and captivating with a slightly gangster twist. The story revolves around 4 main characters - Tavia, Wesley, Saxony and Karam- in the fictional city of Creije. When a new dark and sinister type of magic makes its way onto the streets, the group must fight together to defeat the enemy and save the city from ruin.
The characters in this book were incredible, each with their own unique identity and were likeable in their own way.
The book was captivating from the start and ended with a great cliff hanger that has me waiting on the edge of my seat for the sequel. Would 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy.
