Having not read anything from Alexandra Christo before I wasn’t sure what to expect.
I was rewarded with a fantastic story of mystery, magic and intrigue. Carefully crafted and convincing characters help to guide you through the twists and turns.
I wouldn’t usually go for a book of this genre, however was pleasantly surprised to discover that this was a gripping story that I really didn’t want to stop reading!
I particularly liked the character of Tavia and the unknown elements of the story which keep you hooked!
If you enjoy magic, mystery and a plot full of twists- this is the book for you!
