This book is very easy to read, it's as if every word serves a purpose and none are wasted. From the first sentence I was hooked, desperste to know what move the protagonist would make next in trying to sell her "magic". The author does an admirable job of leading you down a certain path of the world they have created, it's impossible to feel lost. This story looks at magic in a different way, as if it's something that can be produced with the right formula, or with misdirection and illusion, rather than something produced by enchanted people or enchanted objects. Overall, I feel as though the author has successfully created a magical world that is vastly different from those that already exist and does a good job at guiding you through it with ease.
