I was lucky enough to win this book after reading the First Impression and found it very intriguing, I really liked everything about it, from the gorgeous cover art to the quirky characters and the amazing detailed world created by Alexandra Christo. The writing style is easy to read and even though the POV switches between the main characters I found it easy to follow, it kept the narrative flowing and held my interest. The characters are diverse and fascinating and I loved the idea of magic as something that could be traded as charms or tricks. The book ends on a cliffhanger as a lead in to the second book in the series and I would definitely like to carry on and find out what happens next.
