From the first impression, I got that this was going to be an interesting read. I was left wanting more after the two chapters. This book is amazing, cannot wait for the second one. I may also have to go and read To Kill A KIngdom.
I really like that we get multiple view points through the story. From different characters of different backgrounds who are wokring together but for different reasons and causes. There is chemistry between the characters. I laughed with them, empathised with them.
Christo also creates a fantasical, magical world. Magic is a big part but you also have a big bad, corruption within policing and governing.
All in all this was a really entertaining read, and I really do recommend it!!
