The cover of this book instantly drew me and got my attention that I knew I would enjoy this book before I read it. Luckily for me, it lived up to my expectations. I loved the world that was built and all the magic in it and especially loved the characters, even Wesley who at first I was very unsure of.
I loved how the chapters were the different points of views of each character which really made you get to know them.
Although it was a young adult book, I do believe that it can be enjoyed by any aged reader who loves a bit of magic.
The ending left me wanting more and I'm so glad this is part of a duology as I will definitely be purchasing the next book. I can't wait.
