I’m not visually a big fan of magic and complete mystery and I was almost certain I wouldn’t like this book as it started like many other magical books with a map of the realm trying to familiarise you with the places that will be spoken about in the book. However, upon reading the sneak peek I feel there is much more of a story behind the magical front it first exposes.
The writing style is easy and fluid meaning the pace of the story is not lost. The characters are quickly established too.
In my opinion there is more to this book than meets the eye and a lot more to be discovered. Although it may not be a book I would have chose to buy, it is now at least one that I would like to continue reading.
