I believe this is going to be a two book series so I'm now itching to see how the story is going to develop and conclude. Already the developments of the characters are phenomenonal and it ended with a sense of what's going to happen next but not with too much questions which is refreshing.

I felt like as far as a fantasy book goes it didn't add anything to the genre. It's a difficult genre to tackle as there's so many worlds out there. However Christo has created Creje with a variety of decent characters and an interesting magic system. The plot developed at a decent pace and set the tone for the next book.
